2005 World Masters
Games The Edmonton 2005 World Masters Games is the largest
international amateur multi-sport event, attracting more
than 16,000 elite and recreational athletes who will compete
in 27 sporting events. This event offers sport enthusiasts
a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate at an international
level with other Masters athletes from as many as 100 different
countries. Edmonton will host the sixth World Masters Games

BC wins at West Coast
Can-AM Team Championships by Garett Hennigan
Portland Oregon was the site of the first annual West Coast
Can-Am Team Championships which took place on April 2, 3,
and 4. This new annual team-format tournament had four teams
representing the various west coast areas. The areas represented
were BC, Seattle, Portland and the San Francisco Bay Area.
