Christmas Present for Squash-
TSN- DECEMBER 25th at 12:30pm!
Open the presents, heat the oven and turn on the
TV! Squash has never been more seasonal. Get the TV ratings up so
pass this on!!!! For the first time in its 5 year history, the Pace
Credit Union Canadian Squash Classic will be shown on Canadian national
T.V.. And there's no excuse for missing it!
TSN will air 2 consecutive highlight programs of the tournament
on December 25. (TSN schedule is subject to change.) The TSN broadcast
coverage is produced by Jean De Lierre, the premier television producer
in squash. Broadcast sponsors include Pace Savings and Credit Union,
Dundee Wealth Management, TD Newcrest and Primus Telecommunications.
The Classic, played this November, is held annually on a portable,
4 wall glass court at Toronto's award-winning BCE Place Galleria.
The world ranking men's tournament is one of the Professional Squash
Association's top 10 World Tour events and features the best players
in the world. Canadian squash star & 3 time champion of the
PACE Credit Union Canadian Classic, Jonathon Power, who was this
year's finalist, is heavily featured in the TSN programming together
with fellow Canadian Graham Ryding as a first time Classic semi
finalist.
