ANDREW LYNN FROM VANCOUVER WINS THE
NATIONAL BANK FINANCIAL
WINTER CARNIVAL OPEN SQUASH TOURNAMENT
FEBRUARY 20-22, 2004

Top seeded Andrew Lynn of Vancouver defended his title of the National Bank Financial Winter Carnival Open squash tournament by beating Joe Forster 3-1 in the deciding final open game at Rosters.

There was plenty of captivating squash at Rosters over the weekend that delighted gallery spectators.

Lynn proved that steady, disciplined and error free squash is a sure way to win a final. Forster attempted to match the pace with Lynn but eventually the hard working Lynn forced Forster into errors that cost him the match.

Forster took the first game - "My head was gone" said Lynn about the first game. Lynn did not have to play catch up long - he won the next three in a row.

The entire weekend was a huge success with a full tournament and lots of fun. Rob Morris co-owner of Rosters - "the hot tub on the deck was full all weekend, there was great squash and players from all over BC & Alberta had a great time - We look forward to hosting another event in 2005".
