BC MENS AND BC WOMENS TEAMS PERFORMED WELL AT THE CANADIAN TEAMS EVENTS.

The BC Women's Team, consisting of Nicola Martin, Sue Wastie and Susan Rittinger competed in Edmonton last weekend and came home with a 6th place finish. They were seeded 6th and therefore obviously performed well to fulfil their expected finish. Well done girls.

The BC Men's Team, consisting of Randy Town, Jay Anderson and Eliot Frymire returned from Niagara with an 8th place finish. The men's event had 12 provinces and territories competing, one of the largest turn outs ever. The BC boys were seeded 8th and like the women did well to live up to their expectations. Good job guys.

Both teams are to be complimented in that no travel expenses were covered. This was all out of their own pockets. Without their generous offer and participation we would not have had teams competing this year. We will expect to be back on a program of funding the teams in future.
