The John Burris Award
The John Burris Award was presented at the River Club Open, Saturday night Oct. 15th. This award is given out annually in honour of John Burris who was the ultimate sportsman on and off the court. His passion and enthusiasm for the game are unequalled. It is with these traits in mind that we look for a worthy individual to award this trophy to.

This year's recipient is Garett Hennigan. Garett has always been a gentleman on and off court. His passion and enthusiasm for the game are right up there with Johns. (Some people might say he's a little too enthusiastic!!)

Next time you see Garett playing or even talking about the game, this will give you an idea of the high standard it takes to win this award. Congratulations Garett from the Squash BC community.
