The Third Annual High Game Tournament
Raises $2,500 for the 2020 Fund
On June 20th, twenty two squash players joined forces at the
Arbutus Club to raise $2,500 for the 2020 Fund, beating last year’s
tally of $2,200. Besides lots of squash (each player had a minimum
of four matches), the tournament featured a very successful silent
auction and dinner afterwards in the Arbutus Club lounge. more...

Squash Tournament Camp
Presented by coaches John Fleury, Melanie Jans and Viktor Berg,
this unique "Squash Tournament Camp" will cover everything
a junior player (12 and up) would need to know in order to play their
best in a tournament. Participants will play in the Sun and Surf tournament
at Jericho in August and receive video analysis of their game and

My First Squash Tournament
Ever
To qualify for this one day event, a pre-requisite was to have no,
or little, tournament experience. It was for all those people who
ever thought to themselves…or out loud “I’ve hardly
played…I’m not good enough to play a tournament!”
Also eligible were Open Division 8 and Women’s Division 7 City
League players. A total of 13 men and 20 women from a variety of clubs
including: VLTBC, VRC, Bentall, Bonsor, Sport Central and Jericho.
