| A change in appearance and packaging of the
Dunlop squash ball, Official Ball of Squash BC and Squash Canada, may cause some
confusion this season. The ball hasn't changed (so they tell us), but the appearance, the
name and the package has. The old Dunlop XX Yellow Dot Ball will now be called the
"Revelation Pro XX" ball and will have 2 (two) yellow dots on it. It will be phased in over the season so don't throw any new "old" yellow dot balls Remember it is supposed to be the same ball. The new four-ball range, which abandons the existing and supposedly widely misunderstood usage of coloured 'dot' balls, includes two balls that are bigger and more playable - with the aim of bringing more fun into the game. The range is based upon a unique design concept which is exclusive to Dunlop, focused on extending ball "hang-time". To be on the safe-side, memorize the guide below. Squash BC will be supplying sanctioned tournaments with the old style Dunlop XX yellow dot ball until the stock is finished. I expect that we will be changing over sometime after the New Year.
The new Revelation Pro XX ball made its international tournament debut at the WSF-hosted Women's World Junior Championships in Antwerp, Belgium.
