Operational Documents & Forms
Squash BC’s Constitution, By-Laws, Policies & Procedures, Strategic Plan Documents and Squash BC Forms
In January 2017 the Squash BC membership passed Squash BC’s new Constitution and By-Laws which ensured that our organization complies with the current BC Society’s Act.
Policies and procedures are an essential part of any organization. Together, policies and procedures provide a roadmap for day-to-day operations. They ensure compliance with laws and regulations, give guidance for decision-making, and streamline internal processes.
Over the last six (6) months, the Board and other volunteers have undertaken a major review and revision of the Squash BC Policy and Procedures (SQBC P&P) document which had not been significantly updated for many years. The majority of the review and editing was focused on updating Squash BC’s operational procedures to ensure they reflect current practices and are clearly articulated; removing duplications or conflicts in information; and simplifying references to other sections. There were also several policy changes made. See SQBC Policies and Procedures Review Summary
The SQBC P&P document will be reviewed and updated annually prior to the start of the next squash season – usually by August. Any changes that occur during the year will be noted in a section on the website under SQBC Governance called “SQBC Policy and Procedure Updates”.
