Squash BC and our Member Facilities offer a wide range of tournament formats to meet the demand of our membership. You can view a full list of Squash BC sanctioned tournaments or register and view results for all events on Club Locker. Read on for more information about our various tournament series categories.
Junior Tournaments
Junior Provincial Series
The Junior Provincial Series includes the following events: BC Junior Open and BC Junior Closed Provincial Championships. Playing Up or Girls Playing in Boys Events request requirements only apply to the BC Junior Open. The BC Junior Closed Provincial Championships requires all players compete in the division that meets their current age and gender identification.
Junior Gold Series
The Junior Gold Series includes all events sanctioned at the Gold level by Squash BC. The goal of this series is to provide top junior players with consistent high-level competition. For this reason, events may limit registration or use a tiered draw structure, dictated by level of play (defined by Club Locker rating or Junior Tournament Panel discretion).
Junior Silver Series
The Junior Silver Series is a regionalized tournament series that gives players outside of the top of Squash BC’s provincial junior rankings the opportunity to compete and experience success. Players provincially ranked in the top eight of U15, U17 & U19 or the top four of U13 (as of the event registration deadline) are ineligible to participate in the Silver Series. Silver Series hosts have flexibility in their tournament format, but players must be guaranteed at least two matches. Silver Series events must be run on Club Locker and will contribute towards player ratings and provincial rankings.
Squash Starters Tour
The Squash Starters Tour is an event series focused on FUN where newer junior players can experience squash competition in a safe and welcoming environment. Squash Starters events can be structured as a Round Robin Tournament or a series of timed match rotations. The most important part is keeping participants active, playing matches, and having fun for as much of the event time as possible. Squash BC recommends having multiple age or level divisions using different progressive balls

Open/Adult Tournaments
Provincial Series
The Provincial Series includes the following events: BC Closed Championships, BC Doubles Championships, and the BC Open Championships. This series of tournaments provide an opportunity for the Squash BC membership to experience a high level of competition, while competing for Provincial Championship Titles.
Adult/Open Tournaments
Adult/open tournaments are hosted by member facilities across the province to provide a wide variety of tournament offerings to our membership. Tournaments range from single day events to full weekend competition, allowing competition for all levels of play.
Doubles Tournaments
Doubles tournaments are hardball doubles tournaments that are currently offered at four facilities located in the Lower Mainland. Hardball doubles is played with a larger squash court and a different ball, providing another opportunity of squash to our membership. Learn more about Doubles at Squash BC.
